Nashville is a city that loves a good love story, and if you’re looking for a fun place to elope in Tennessee, Music City is the perfect place to do it. With its beautiful scenery, vibrant culture, and endless activities, Nashville has everything you need to plan the perfect all-day elopement. If you’re planning an elopement in Nashville, here are some ideas for activities to fill your day:

Morning Activities:

  • Start your day with a sunrise wedding ceremony at one of Nashville’s many scenic overlooks or picturesque parks. Some popular options include:
    • Cheekwood Estate & Gardens: This 55-acre estate features a world-renowned botanical garden, a museum of art, and a beautiful mansion.
    • The Belle Meade Plantation: This historic plantation offers couples the chance to exchange vows in a grand setting.
    • The Ryman Auditorium: This iconic venue is where country music stars like Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton got their start.
    • The Parthenon
    • Centennial Park
    • Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park
    • Explore Cedars of Lebanon State Park like M & E did
    • Cumberland Park (featured in this post)
  • After your ceremony, have a picnic breakfast in one of the parks, or enjoy a leisurely breakfast at one of Nashville’s many great restaurants. The Southern Steak & Oyster, The Palm, Bluebird Café, and Etch are all popular choices.
  • Split a flight of donuts and mimosas at the Donut Distillery in East Nashville. They also offer bourbon or craft beer pairings. The fruity pebbles donut is my favorite!
